Pneumatic Proportional Valve Control & Vibration Measurement System

Pneumatic Proportional Valve Control & Vibration Measurement System
At a glance

A PLC with a tuned PID loop sets proportional valve pressure automatically while logging vibration — responsive and cost-effective.

PID control suits systems that are essentially linear and whose dynamics do not change over time. A PLC runs a tuned PID loop — proportional, integral and derivative terms — to automate what an operator would otherwise do by watching a gauge and turning a knob until the output settles.

The result is a responsive, relatively low-cost controller that meets the needs of modern industrial control systems.
