Operating logic

Operating flow

  • Display — 7” colour TFT touch HMI.
  • Stand-alone unit supporting 4 tanks, each with its own electric lock unlocked by barcode scan.
  • Open/close detection on every tank, so the system always knows each tank’s state.
  • One tank unlocked at a time — while Tank 1 is unlocked and open, scanning other tanks has no effect; if Tank 1 is unlocked but still closed, scanning Tank 2 immediately re-locks Tank 1 and unlocks Tank 2.
  • Auto-lock — re-locks after a set time (default 60 s) if the tank is never opened, immediately when an opened tank is closed, or after the set time if a tank is left open.
  • Records — one record per completed unlock-and-fill cycle, up to 1,000 records kept on a rolling basis, including date, time, tank number, name, part number and employee ID; 10 records per page.
  • Audible alerts — one beep for a correct scan, two beeps for a wrong part number, and a long tone every 2 seconds whenever a tank is open.
  • Engineer setup (4–12 digit password) — review records, manual lock/unlock, register tank names/part numbers and employee IDs, set date/time and password, LCD brightness, auto-lock time (10–90 s), buzzer and employee-ID checking, and enable/disable each tank individually.
